Mescal
3 yrs, male, Cat
Italy, Emilia Romagna, Bologna
|
|
| Nicknames: |
Gatten, Piccolo gatto |
| Bio: |
I was born 3 years ago. My mother Susy was so prolific that my owners at that time couldn't afford to keep me and all my brothers and sisters. Marco rescued me from an unpleasant end (...) and I ended up living in a nice apartment in Bologna, Italy. Life is pretty good here, as I have lots or rooms full of stuff to destroy (!). I also do some pretty good physical exercise, running away from my guardians angry for their stuff being ruined all the time... |
| Character: |
I'm sleepy at times, but hyperactive other times. In general though, I love to play, run and stay with my poeple. |
| Peculiar marks: |
One leg is white, and I have a black spot just inside my mouth. You can also recognize me from my nails, which are always pretty long! |
| Best tricks: |
I can run away at the light speed when I need to. I also silently go after my human and not-human victims and make sudden little attacks that make everyone laugh |
| Worst tricks: |
For a while I felt the need to pee against a door in the house, instead of going to the right place as I always had done until then...Now I'm back on track however (also because the door is now covered by baloons...and you know...I'm scared by baloons!) |
| Name story: |
I originally was named Maya, because my owners were told I was a female! They chose that name because they liked Jessica Alba when she was playing the role of the girl in the Flipper series. After a month they brought me to the vet for my first visit, and there they found out the truth, at last! My name is now Mescal, which is the name of the boss of the Mexican thieves in the movie "Trinità", with Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. You know, this is a cult movie here... |
| Favorite moments: |
I wish I could say every moment spent with the people here at home is a great moment...but truth to be told...I dream about the times I get salmon and other delicious non-regular food |
| Embarassing moments: |
I've never been embarassed in my life, and never will |
| Worst moments: |
I suffered from renal colic twice, and let me tell you, it was dramatic, both for me and my best friend. But it's over now, and we're hoping it never happens again |
| Likes: |
I love to sleep, play, run, scratch, bite. I admit I'm a bit undisciplined at times. But they love me for this I guess. |
| Dislikes: |
Loneliness! |
| Favorite activity: |
Running after flies and any other moving object! I'm a predator after all. |
| Favorite food: |
Salmon, salmon, salmon...and a bit of chicken too, please |
| Favorite park: |
Well, I'm a home cat and I've never really experienced a public park...but I don't miss it. |
| Favorite toy: |
I once had a plush mouse that I had great time with. Unfortunately I was too energetic at that time, and I made small pieces of it. Maybe I'll get a new one for Christmas? |
